One of the best parts about being a small, locally-owned business, is we get to incorporate our values into everything we do.
Donations
We believe that one person’s clutter can be a blessing to others. We also know that it is easier to let go of items that are no longer used when you know someone else will use and love them. Decisions about the handling of recycling, trash, and donatable items are completely up to our clients, however, we do our best to encourage the responsible disposal of materials. Sometimes, that means finding a local organization that would benefit from their gently used castoffs. Other times, it means separating materials that can be recycled from trash. If you or your non-profit, or local organization, accepts used items of any kind, please contact us! The more specific you can be, the better! We keep a database, so when certain items become available we know who to contact. Some examples are:
- Animal shelters and foster organizations- old towels & bedding, leashes and animal crates, etc.
- Assisted living centers – magazines, puzzles, etc.
- Art teachers at public schools- craft supplies, magazines for art projects
- Teachers- backpacks, pencils, extra notebooks, etc.
- Homeless shelters or ministries- small toiletries, backpacks, etc.
Volunteering
Every month we like to volunteer our organizing services at a non-profit in our community. Whether that’s organizing a donation room at a homeless shelter, a pantry at a domestic violence shelter, or a craft closet at an art therapy center, we love using our organizing gifts to bless others and learn more about what they do. If you work with a non-profit or community organization that could use us, please contact us today! We know many people working in this field are very busy and the needs they see are great, we’d love to assist them and help take something off their plate.
